Description: Appeal testimony 5/21/08 appeal # 2008-00032 1001 w paces ferry rd nw on 1/10/08 I responded to a complaint of a nuisance tree at 1001 w. Paces ferry rd nw. I approved a 24 elm and requested the parks dept to declare it a nuisance. I also approved an additional 4 dead or dying trees on the property. This permit was sent to the owner of record west paces ferry trust. The letter was returned as undeliverable on 1/28/08 in march I discovered that a demolition permit had been requested at the property with the owner listed as steve west custom homes. On 3/28/08 I forwarded a copy of the removal of the five trees and a request to remove the nuisance tree within 10 days of receipt. On 4/10/08 I went to the site to confirm removal. I found that the nuisance tree the four permitted trees and an additional seven trees totaling 103 diameter inches had been removed.
