Description: I would like to obtain a permit for adding a shower to my lower bathroom. We currently have one full bathroom and one half bathroom and would like to addition a shower to our half bathroom. The half bathroom is in my garage/design studio where I work (design/fabrication work...) - it would be ideal if I have a better way to can clean up before coming upstairs to our main living area I would also like to retroactively permit emergency plumbing work completed at the beginning of the pandemic after having a sudden sewage backup in the same lower bathroom. We had to quickly have a plumber adjust slope on our units sewer line in order to avoid further backups. The city was not performing inspections at the time of this emergency. The cleanup was performed by professionals and we have experienced no further sewage backups since.
