Description: Loud music in the area. Coming from Sunset Island 3, second house to the left on 21st St, possibly Sunset 4. At 6:20am a call was received from dispatch regarding loud music coming from the location. I responded to the call arriving at 6:35am. On my arrival I noticed a taxi stopped in front of location. I checked from the right of way in front of the house but no music was heard. I walked to the east and west side of the location but still no loud music was heard. I requested that the complainant be contacted and dispatch called. Dispatch reported that the complainant did not want to meet but reported that she could still hear the music. I continued to monitor the location for several minutes but still no loud music was heard. The complaint was reported not valid at 7:20am. I departed the location at 7:25am. Description: loud music Arrival: 8:16pm Upon my arrival to 1420 W. 20th street, there was no music heard coming from this location. I then patrolled the area checking for loud music and no music was heard. I then met with the complainant. He stated that he's complaining about loud music and short term rentals. The complainant stated that there is like 20 young people staying at the house and that when they go out clubbing they all go to the pool and that's where that loud music and yelling come from. I then stated that right now I don't hear any music therefore I can't issue any violation for the music. I then stated that I will go over and make contact with the tenant and see if I can get some information in reference to short term rentals. Before I left the complainant he introduced me to another resident that is also a complainant. He gave me some paperwork for the internet that shows the prices for the monthly rentals.
