Description: Mr. Cecil fellerman and ms. Teresa e. Phillips reside at 14713 redcliffe DR tampa. Fl. 33625. Their back yard has an overgrown (very overgrown)bamboo tree. It has never been maintained. The tree also has rats that come out and run along our fence which worry me because I have grandchildren that play in the backyard and I also have dog and worry about her trying to catch the rat and then getting sick or worse. Mr. Fellerman's backyard is also overgrown with palm trees and palms that need to be cut down and their jacuzzi also has tree limbs and trash in it. I know code enforcement has been out to this address a few years ago and even my neighbor has filed a complaint but there has never been a resolution. Description: The following is the information a citizen submitted using the online form on the hillsborough county code enforcement complaint form. Of complaint = my name is cecilia bute I reside at 15111 willowdale rd. Tampa fl. 33625 in mandarin lakes subdivision. The residence at 14713 reddcliffe dr. Brookshire subdivision tampa fl. 33625 has bamboo growing out of control in his back yard. He has been asked by my neighbor to please cut it back since it is impinging on the fence and pool area screening in her back yard. It is now hanging over into my back yard. On several occasions when we have had cook outs we have seen rats coming from his bamboo stalks and running along on top of the fence. I have grandchildren who play in my back yard and I am concerned with their health and well being as well as my dog. These rats bring disease and not to mention snakes. Please advise what can be done to control this bamboo tree.
